On September 9 and 10, 2024, Jovive Wound Care in Mission Viejo and Loma Linda welcomed the community to our outpatient clinics offering convenient access to specialized wound treatment across Southern California. Since opening in January, we’ve been committed to bringing compassionate, cutting-edge care for chronic wounds to those in need.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce and the Redlands Chamber of Commerce for their warm welcome and invaluable support in making our ribbon-cutting events a success. We are excited to introduce the latest advancements in wound care to Southern California.
Our Medical Directors, Dr. Bill Khoury, and Dr. Vera Vanderkraan, spoke about our vision for making a positive impact within our communities, marking the beginning of a new chapter in chronic wound healing.
Both clinics are dedicated to providing accessible, flexible healthcare options for those dealing with chronic, non-healing wounds. We were deeply honored by the recognition we received from city and state leaders, as well as local media outlets.
Mission Viejo:
- California State Senate Certificate of Recognition from the office of Senator Catherine Blakespear (District 38)
- Certificate of Congressional Recognition from the office of Congresswoman Young Kim (40th District)
- Assembly Certificate of Recognition from the office of Assemblywoman Kate Sanchez (71st District)
- City of Mission Viejo Certificate of Business Recognition from Mayor Trish Kelley
- County of Orange Certificate of Recognition from the office of Donald P. Wagner, Chairman, Board of Supervisors (Third District)
Loma Linda:
- Assembly Certificate of Recognition from the office of Eloise Gómez Reyes, Majority Leader Emerita (50th District)
- Certificate of Recognition from the office of Senator Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh (23rd District)
We were also joined by our partners at Organogenesis, who demonstrated skin substitutes that have drastically improving healing rates, sometimes in cases that would have otherwise required amputation.
We are truly grateful to the Mission Viejo and Loma Linda communities for welcoming us and allowing us to bring this essential service to you. We look forward to continuing our mission of providing specialized care to heal complex wounds.
