We are a group of trained wound care specialists here to help you in your home. We come to you through a combination of at-home and online visits, with physician oversight from start to recovery.
Shanna Newbold, MD, ABEM, ABWMS
Shanna Newbold, MD, ABWMS, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician specializing in wound care. Dr. Newbold has been in practice for over a decade. She is medical director of Jovive Wound Care.
Dr. Newbold earned her medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, CA. She is certified by the American Board of Wound Medicine and Surgery. Her current focus is on creating a health care model for wound care patients that will improve outcomes and lower cost.
In her free time, Dr. Newbold enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, biking and riding motorcycles, with her husband and two wonderful children.
Bill Khoury, MD, FACEP, CWSP
Serving Orange County, Saddleback
Dr. Khoury is board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Medicine. He received his bachelor of science in Biology from Loma Linda University-Riverside and his medical degree from Loma Linda University. After completing his internship and residency at King/Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles, he practiced emergency medicine at Mission Hospital in Laguna Beach for over 10 years. With an interest in hyperbaric oxygen therapy and wound care, he subsequently became certified by the American Board of Wound Management and developed expertise in treating non-healing ulcerations. He is currently the medical director of the Saddleback Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine in Mission Viejo, CA.
In his free time, Dr. Khoury enjoys golf, hiking and spending time with his wife and family.
Timothy McNaughton, MD
Timothy McNaughton, MD, is an experienced emergency medicine physician with a focus on wound care. He earned his medical degree from the University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine. Dr. McNaughton sees patients through Jovive Wound Care.
Sara Schilt, PA-C
Sara is a certified physician assistant with experience working in women’s health and with Medicare patients. Sara attended Loma Linda University School of Allied Health. She is passionate about teaching people about how our bodies work and enabling them to live healthy lives.
Sara is a mom to a 9-year-old boy, 7-year-old girl, and 2 Malti-Poo dogs. In her free time, she enjoys reading, organizing, hiking and camping.
Laura Houck, PA-C
Laura is an experienced certified physician assistant focused on orthopedics and wound care. She received her medical education at Loma Linda University MS-PAS and completed Arrowhead Orthopedics PA fellowship in Colton, CA.
She loves educating her patients and helping them make informed decisions about their care and lifestyle. Nothing brings her more joy than helping her patients through their health journey.
In her free time, she spends time with her husband and two sons exploring the outdoors, cooking new foods, and serving in their church community.
Ashley Stemley, PA-C
Ashley is a certified physician assistant that brings 10+ years of emergency medicine experience to our patients. She received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and beekeeping.
Benjamin Rinard, PA-C
Benjamin Rinard, PA-C is a certified physician assistant with experience in Emergency Medicine. Benjamin attended Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona CA. He strives to treat his patients as family to assist them in reaching their healthcare goals.
Benjamin enjoys hiking, running, and reading in his free time. He and his wife have a goal to visit every national park in the United States.
Samantha Cleveland, RRT, CHT
Samantha brings 5 years of wound care specific experience, including Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber therapy. She is an emergency medical technician, respiratory therapist and certified hyperbaric technician. Samantha has over 10 years hands-on experience in various acute and in-home patient care, including treating critical care patients.
She is committed to compassionate patient advocacy. Throughout her professional and personal life, she strives to be a strong voice for others in need.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and furry baby.
